To better service our communities, both Midnite Sun & Cruise as well as Glo Sun & Shades have entered into an agreement.
As of May 10, 2017, Glo Sun & Shades has purchased all three Midnite Sun & Cruise locations in Muskegon. Midnite Sun & Cruise will focus its attention on branches located in Grand haven, Holland, and Greater Grand Rapids.
“This is a strategic move for each company to step up our game – providing the absolute best services for our valued customers and will allow each company to invest more heavily into new state-of-the-art tanning equipment and products,” Dan Van Dine, owner of Midnite Sun & Cruise said.
With more locations of Glo Sun & Shades comes a greater variety of tanning equipment and additional product and services not currently being offered.
Katie Dyer, general manager of Glo Sun & Shades described the agreement as “a bold exciting move” and by acquiring Midnite Sun & Cruise, she said, “Everyone in Muskegon County that enjoys tanning will be better served.”
Van Dine said nothing of any significance will change among the Midnite Sun & Cruise locations and mentioned that Glo Sun & Shades has indicated some of its tanning packages will see a reduction in price.
“Our employees have been offered positions with Glo as well,” Van Dine said, “It’s our plan to work together, sharing ideas and resources now and into the future.”
Van Dine said both businesses share a similar philosophy of operations.
“We will focus our business outside of Muskegon while Glo will serve Muskegon,” Van Dine said. “This will allow for a very cooperative relationship.”
Glo Sun & Shades is honoring all memberships for current Midnite Sun & Cruise customers wishing to continue their membership with Glo Sun & Shades.
“This is a great day for our customers,” Dyer said. “We are very excited to meet and serve our new customers.”
